Digitized letter from George Young to Lottie Lasher, dated May 16, 1865, from Chattanooga. Page 2 mentions his typical Sunday tending horses, and all the work he has to do on the "day of rest." Page 4 mentions President Johnson post Lincoln assassination, saying he hopes Johnson is harder on traitors than Lincoln was. He says that since the war is over, the 20th Ohio Battery is supposed to be mustered out in October 1865, or possibly sooner.
