The newsletter, published by Miller Brothers Company, Chattanooga, is dated March 1948. The name of the publication, "The Chatulrom," is derived from the 3 cities, Chattanooga, Tullahoma and Rome, in which their company had a store.
This is the first issue of the magazine and the front cover includes photographs of the four winners of the "You Name It" contest, those who submitted the winning name of the new newsletter.
The second page contains a message from Felix G. Miller and a photograph of the staff members.
On the third page is the purpose and aim of this newsletter: "...to create a closer and more pleasant working relationship, and a higher degree of understanding among ourselves."
The articles include news from different departments, featured employees, and dedicated pages for the Rome and Tullahoma stores.
On the back cover is a drawing of the store and a poem about shopping at Miller Bros., submitted by L.A. Hilliard.
