A letter from George Brown to Elsworth, dated July 10, 1918. George tells Elsworth that he moved back to Ohio on June 2nd. He says that 'sister Maud' had been operated on for 'cancer of the womb', but five weeks later is doing well. He relates the goings-on at the farm, and tells Elsworth about the pains of being old. He wishes him and the other boys luck on the front, and mentions Elsworth's cousins, DeWhitt Brown in France, and Laural Heislers(?) who is at the naval school in Illinois.
