Digitized letter from George Young to Lottie Lasher, dated May 24, 1865, from Chattanooga. He describes how he and 25 others took a pleasure trip on horseback to Lulah Lake on Lookout Mountain. Unfortunately, he fell off his horse and sprained his shoulder. He says his new detail is with the Quartermaster's Office, helping to wrap up business by June 1st as the Quartermaster has been relieved.
