a) A business letter written from L.M. Lemmitt(?) at Bagleys Mills informing him that he has sent him flour, seeks his advice on starting a distillery, and asks for laborers. The back page was folded in such a way that it acted as the outer envelope, which reads "Capt. Crutchfield at Home" from Yankee Miller and has an abstract across the back that reads "In regards to wheat".
b) A brief letter written from L.M. Lemmitt(?) to William Crutchfield regarding a boiler and an inquiry about potential employees. The letter was folded in such a way that part of the back page acted as the outer envelope. The letter was addressed to Capt. Crutchfield at Home and has an abstract that reads "Senate--bout a boy for me."
