Digitized letter written by George Young on November 15th, 1864, George addresses his friend Lottie, who lives back home in Chattanooga. He begins the letter by addressing the fact that he has not received a letter from Lottie in a few weeks, and how this upsets him. He moves on to inquire about the health of some older ladies back home and says that he is planning on making a trip to Chattanooga between January 13th and February 15th. He hopes that there will be a lot of food on the table upon his arrival, as he has not eaten well while on the road. In his closing statements, George reminisces on evenings spent with Lottie and their two other friends, Pria and Orpha and how he wishes he could have another evening spent with them.
