Collection Crutchfield letters Collection
Description A letter includes lyrics to a southern hymn called "All Is Well", which was originally composed by J.T. White. The hymn is about peace and comfort in death because of redemption. The letter was folded up and the outer margins acted as an envelope. On the face of the envelope, the inscription reads "The Property of William Crutchfield" and claims to be "from an unknown friend".
