Digitized letter from A. P. Turner (?) to his sister, Miss Celinda Turner of Marysville, Ohio. Written from Port Delaware and dated Aug. 18th 1864. He notes that hopefully the war is drawing to a close. He asks to be remembered to George Lincoln if he's still in town (presumably Marysville). He says he knows she's been in touch with M. C. Lawrence, whom he admires, and asks if they're getting serious.
