Description A letter written from John Lumpkin to William Crutchfield informing him on the happenings of his sister and his plans for travel to Washington City with his horse and buggy.
The back page was folded up and acted as an envelope. It is addressed from John Lumpkin, M.C. to Mr. Wm Crutchfield, Jacksonville, Ala. and is labeled "B" perhaps for business. There are also some arithmetic problems scribbled in pencil on one of the flaps.
