A letter written from Hatchett & Snow in Wetumpka, Alabama to William Crutchfield regarding the sale of flour in exchange for forgiveness of debt.
The letter was folded in such a way that the back page acted as the outer envelope. The letter is addressed to Mr. Wm. Crutchfield Jacksonville Ala. It is postmarked Feb. 20 in Wetumpka and has a 5-cent stamp in the upper-right hand corner. There is an abstract on the back that reads "Hatchett & Snow in regard to flour". The back contains remnants of a red was seal.
