A brief letter written to William Crutchfield from his sister in Athens. She mentions that she has sent him a pair of flax pants and 14 pairs of toe pants.
The letter was folded in such a way that the back page acted as the outer envelope. The envelope is addressed to Mr. William Crutchfield, Jacksonville Alabama. The envelope has the phrase "By boy, John" inscribed in the lower-lefthand corner and "From Sis, (???) TN" inscribed on the back.
