A letter of business written from Thomas Crutchfield to his son, William Crutchfield stating that he has sent bacon from different smoke houses and a few pieces of clothing made by his mother.
The letter was folded in such a way that the back page acted as the outer envelope. It is addressed to Mr. William Crutchfield, Jacksonville Ala. The envelope is labeled "B" for business and has an inscription in the lower-lefthand corner that says "Pr. Waggoner John, a Man of (???).
