A brief letter written to William Crutchfield from his uncle, Andrew Lyle, in Wetumpka, AL. He reports that he has not sent his watch back to him because there is now glass in town yet. He also agrees to send him four barrels of molasses because it is so inexpensive.
The letter was folded so that the back page acted as the envelope. The letter is addressed to "Mr. William Crutchfield Jr.(?), Jacksonville Alabama" from "A. Lyle, Business" care of Mr. Hays(?).
