Digitized Special Order from Henry B. Banning, Lieutenant Colonel Commanding 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry, appointing a committee of other Captains to investigate the numerous weapons and accoutrement supposedly lost in action by M.A. Lawrence, Captain Company A 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Banning appoints Captain Samuel Sharp of company "D" Lieutenant Stephen B. Morehouse of Company "D" and Lieutenant Charles Van Houten of Company "B" to a board of survey to determine if Lawrence should be held responsible for a number of weapons which were lost in battle under his command. Ultimately, they decide that he is released from liability and the loss was not his fault.
