Digitized letter from George Young to Lottie Lasher, dated June 15, 1865, written from Chattanooga. He talks about all the men in his battery that are being mustered out now that the war is over. He says if he has to stay in the army for the full length of his enlistment, he wants a furlough to come home to visit.
