The newsletter, published by Miller Brothers Company, Chattanooga, is dated December 1948. The name of the publication, "The Chatulrom," is derived from the 3 cities, Chattanooga, Tullahoma and Rome, in which their company had a store.
This is the Christmas issue, with a picture of Santa and the store on the cover. On the second page is a memo from Felix G. Miller, wishing all the employees a happy holiday. Also included is a photo of women department heads and buyers.
The articles include news from different departments, featured employees, and dedicated pages for the Rome and Tullahoma stores.
On the back cover is a photograph of the store with a large neon sign above the first level: "Everybody's Santa Claus."
