Digitized stereoscopic view of a perpendicular rock cliff with railroad tracks hugging the base of the cliff. The tracks steeply ascend the side of the cliff, disappearing in the distance. There is a wooden pole to the right of the track. Small trees and brush grow along the tracks and on the cliff.
Handwritten on the back, three times: "Lookout Cliff and N. and C. R. R." There is something else written along the bottom but it has been obscured by missing backing.
While image does not have a Linn brother stamp on it, it most likely is a J.B. Linn image. He offers one that's entitled "Nashville and Chattanooga Railroad, running under the Cliffs."
