Transcription from front side: "I went to mail this Mon. but didn't know your address so I waited to find out. I have just come from town saw Ponto(?) and Mr. D. I ask Ponto what your address was. He said some good things about you." Transcription from reverse: "Hello Martye, how are you and when are going to be in Etowah again? Oh say, every thing was just as we were planning Sun. eve. You know what we said Sun. morning. So I am tickled to death. Don't let on though. Your pal, Agnes." Addressed to Miss Martye Melton, Englewood, Tenn. Mailed from Etowah.
