Print from a glassplate negative. An older man is standing in front of a tent-like structure. He is wearing a dark suit with the jacket unbuttoned. His thumbs are resting in his pant's pockets with fists curled under. A watch bob is connected from a button on his vest to his vest pocket. He is wearing a large brimmed hat. He man has a long greying beard and moustache. Records indicate the donor believes that the man is Andrew Mitchell Macmurphy, Carrie Thatcher's father, who was an architect in Augusta, GA. There is damage along the right hand edge of the image which replicates damage to the glassplate negative.
This man is possibly in the group picture 1994.108.035, standing most rear of the men.
