A black and white photograph of Gordon P. Street, the President of the Wheland Company. He was also the chairman of North American Royalties, Inc, an oil and mineral royalty investing company. Street acquired the Wheland Company in 1945. He died in 1982.
Street began working at the Wheland Company in 1915 as an office boy. During summer vacations he worked odd jobs in the foundry and machine shop. He left Wheland and for some years was a partner in Street Brother Machine Works. During WWII, Street again became closely associated with the Wheland Company as a result of Street Brothers contracts which were partly produced in the Wheland plant. Street acquired the Wheland Company in 1945. He died in 1982.
