Photographic image of people of Eastern Airlines at Lovell Field in Chattanooga, TN. These could have perhaps been customers and maybe even the first riders of the flights out of Chattanooga on the airline, but that is only an educated guess. They also could have been executives of the airline with their wives. This could have also been a promotional type photograph for the airline when it was new in Chattanooga.
The airplane, with the logo "Silver Falcon" and Martin N450A on it, was a Martin 4-0-4 which Eastern Airlines operated between 1952 and 1962. Circa 1955. The plane now resides at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, Pennsylvania.
