|Collection||Paul A. Hiener Collection|
Part of a collection of negatives related to street scenes, in the downtown Chattanooga area.
u) Postcard, "Chattanooga, Tenn. Fountain Square." Churches, trolley lines, and horse and buggies visible, as well as the fountain. Transcription from front: "x your church. Was here Friday, December 29, 1905." There is an x near a church in the far background, indicating which church the writer was referring to. Transcription on reverse: "We were married 1906." This was written in a different ink and was postmarked before 1906, so it must be a notation from later. Addressed to Miss Pearl Carroll. Henderson, KY, 721 First Street. Postmarked December 30, 1905.
