Collection Foundry photograph collection
Description One mounted photograph of the interior of Wheland Foundry, which was contracted by the military to make weapons. There is also a stamp date of September 12, 1950. Sign hung from factory ceiling: "United We Stand." Image was originally thought to be Ross Meehan because the interior structure is very similar to the building where the Chattanooga Market is held on Sunday's. However, upon comparison to other interior images of Wheland it is highly plausible that this is Wheland Foundry.
