The Wade Brown Furniture Company likely started in 1927 or 1928. The company was a furniture manufacturer, but also produced tents and other items for the U.S. Army during World War II. The company had three addresses through the years: 7 E.16th Street, 212 W. Main, and 1201 Central Avenue.
