Description Photographic print of a class at Clara Carpenter School, 1950. According to a note on the back of the print, the students are learning about saving their sight. Across the top of the chalkboard is a sign that says "Always Read In Good Light." At the front of the class, the teacher is pointing to a book in an apparent demonstration. The students, who are sitting at their desks, all have books open. The teacher's name is written on the back of the print - possibly Breeder.
