Black and white photograph of crowd at Woolworth's lunch counter during the Chattanooga sit-ins of February 1960.
This was on the third day of protests, when student protestors from both sides crowded around Woolworth's lunch counter. A few male students stood on the counter. Workers behind the counter, as well as people in the store, watched with their backs turned toward the camera. A few people sat at the counter and watched.
The name "Wilson" is written on the back referring to the photographer, likely Delmont Wilson of the Chattanooga News-Free Press.
