Two photographs of the famous panoramic view of the Chattanooga Valley from atop Lookout Mountain. a) Library of Congress printed on back and Chattanooga Valley from Lookout Mountain No. 2. b) National Archives printed on back, #111-B-4788, and "Chattanooga Valley from Lookout Mountain" written at the top. The mountain was a significant battlefield during the Civil War in which Union soldiers overran Confederates off the Mountain and back to Missionary Ridge.
