|Object Name||Print, Photographic|
Black and white photograph of a crowd in the streets during the Chattanooga sit-ins of February 1960.
The video "No Incident, No Service" claims that on the third day of protests, white students were allowed to celebrate after African American students were pushed to Lindsay Street. However, it looks like there might have been a fire hose present in the middle of the street (top, center) which would place this photograph on the fourth day of protests and change its context.
The name "Mooney" is written on the back.
