On the back of photo 98.80.191 there is a label that states "The Coordinating Committee for the New Twelve Grade Negro School." Label describes the committee as "A coordinating committee made up of laymen, teachers, principals, students, administrators and architect planning the facilities for the new twelve grade Negro school. Over a period of a year the committee has functioned successfully. They have done extensive research and study in school house planning including building and site design, classroom arrangement, decoration, equipment and facilities."
