Print from glassplate negative. A group of people are sitting and standing on a wharf in shallow water. Two men are sitting in chairs while three women and one young girl are standing. There are row boats in the water next to the wharf and shoreline. On the rise behind the landing is a horse-drawn surrey. Records indicate that the people are Robert Thacher (left), his wife Carrie (beside him in dark outfit) and daughter Sarah "Lamb" (holding cat). The other two women are not identified. There is damage around the upper right hand corner and lower edge which replicates damage to the glassplate negative.
