Photograph of Bob Sherrill with five young women on the steps of a house all looking at a Time magazine. Typed on the back is the date July 1935 and the name Grandview, the name of a summer camp. The names listed are Mary Nell Ling, Louise Willis, Mary Lusk, Martha Cunningham, Ethel Cooper, Isabelle Dobbs.
Photographs in this collection were found in the basement of a house that had been owned by Bob Sherrill. He was a local photographer that worked for the Chattanooga News-Free Press and was official photographer for the fire and police departments. A number of the images are his, but he also collected old photographs.
