Description Photograph of the Chattanooga Medicine Wagon. According to the old information sheet the picture was taken in front of the branch office and ware house. The slogan on the side of the wagon reads "Are you a woman? Take Cardui, the woman's tonic." Chattanooga Medicine Company, 2005 Locust Street.

Z.C. Patten, one of the founding partners of the Chattanooga Medicine Co. sold the company to his nephew, John A. Patten. He started the advertising campaign which drew attention to Wine of Cardui and Black Draught medicines.
