Print from glassplate negative. Ten people are gathered around a dining room table. There is a man and woman and young people of wide-ranging ages. There is a cake in the center of the table with many candles lit on it. The table is set with dishes, silverware, and glasses. The people are dressed for a party. Behind them, along the wall, are two china hutches with glass fronts. Records indicate that this is a birthday party that's taking place in the dining room of Robert Thatcher's houseboat. There is damage around the lower right hand edges which replicates damage to the glassplate negative.
