The older man and woman on the left are Carlisle Jordan and his sister Jean Marie Jordan, descendants of Chattanooga pioneers Daniel Henderson and his wife Jane Cozby Henderson. They are also pictured in an article (2004.019.064) written by John Wilson, published in the Chattanooga News-Free Press on September 7, 1980.
It is possible that the photo was taken October 23, 1975 at the plaque dedication ceremony at Ross' Landing, referred to in a Chattanooga News-Free Press article of the same date (2004.019.063).
