Description Digital scan of black and white photo from loaned photo album. The photograph depicts the construction of a large building on what is now known as the Chattanooga Bluff View Art District. This photograph was probably taken in a boat on the Tennessee River, as the image's perspective is looking up toward the bluff from down below. It is perhaps depicting the 1904 construction of wealthy insurance broker Ross Faxon's Edwardian-style, residential mansion, which was commissioned by the Cincinnati architectural firm Meade and Garfield.
