Photographic print of the lobby of the Tivoli Theatre. The back of print states "1st head painted for Tivoli by Andrew Hill Wootten 1930's. Andy Wootten was employed as an artist at the Tivoli Theatre during the 1930s. He painted images of movie stars and scenes for upcoming attractions that were displayed in and around the Tivoli. The photograph was taken from the rear of the lobby, looking toward the four sets of double doors at the entrance. Above the doors was an advertisement for "Half Way to Heaven" (the face on this sign was probably what the back of print referred to). According to imdb.com, "Half Way to Heaven" premiered in December, 1929, as did another feature, "Pointed Heels," shown on a display on the right. There is a small logo from Englerth's Photographic in the lower right margin.
