|Object Name||Pattern, Casting|
Wooden foundry mold for a boiler part made by Combustion Engineering. This mold looks like it was used to make fans. There are two fan-like, circular shapes in the center with three blades each. Each shape has a blade labeled "54" and another blade that has tab nailed to it (one of the tabs is not secured well and looks like it might fall off). The two fans are connected by a small rectangular piece. They are fixed to a rectangular base with triangular handles on both short sides. Both the front and back sides of the mold are painted black--however the sides were not.
This mold may have been used to make ship boilers during World War II.
